웹First of all, this isn't even the first Batman movie. There is a 1943 version that is pretty bad, even by serial standards. You would think that since Batman had exploded in popularity by 1940 they would have given him a decent movie, but you would be wrong. This 1949 serial is much better than its predecessor.
