WebJul 26, 2009 · I needed to replace parts in the clutch of my cub during restoration, as the clutch was not working at all when I bought it. I separated the tractor and installed all new parts, then put it all back together. When I first started it up, the clutch worked fine and I could shift to all the gears with no problems. WebOct 6, 2024 · Check the casting codes on various parts of the tractor. The picture is of an engine casting code and block part number. If it is a 1956 model, your code would have an A or B and the engine would be an R7. That is if it is the original engine. The engine serial number is behind the hydraulic lines above the dip stick.

I took out the long shaft that releases the clutch and cleaned it and the housing and lubed the pedal shafts as the clutch sticking and not releasing properly. WebPTO Clutch Rebuild Kit. If your brakes work, apply braking to the wheel that’s spinning and that will shift some power to the other wheel.
