WebbSharon Springs is a village in the town of Sharon, Schoharie County, New York, United States. The population was 749 at the 2010 census. The village is named after Sharon, Connecticut, the hometown of an early settler. It is part of the Albany Metropolitan Statistical Area. WebbBy 1860 there were 20 congregations in the state and 53 by 1877. These Jews were predominantly merchants and peddlers, while some were farmers.
