WebGetting an external Tap Tempo to work on the Flashback 2 is notoriously finicky and requires either a special tap tempo pedal or cable. The connection the pedal wants to see for tap tempo is ring-to-ground, the MXR Tap Tempo pedal has dip switches in the back that can let you configure it that way (here's a youtube vid of a guy doing exactly that).
